Mark McInnes
​Mark McInnes has played the great game of cricket for over 20 years and has accumulated a large amount of knowledge and experience.
His playing career included 10 seasons with Manly-Warringah District Cricket Club 1st and 2nd grade sides, contributing to him gaining selection in various representative teams including the NSW Blues Squad, NSW 2nd XI, NSW Colts, the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy, NSW Country and Australian Country.
He has been a qualified cricket coach since 1998. Over many summers Mark has shared his expertise, knowledge and passion for cricket with players of all ages and abilities. He is very professional and is able to communicate the game of cricket to elite players and beginners alike.
Mark is a specialist spin bowling coach. His passion for the game comes through when he is coaching young spin bowlers. As a player he successfully bowled leg spin for more than 15 years. This gives Mark the background and experience to offer plenty to spin bowlers as he has been through it himself and knows the glory and despair of a spin bowler.

Alex Blackwell
Alex Blackwell is Australia’s 17th Test captain for women, and the first Australian woman to play over 200 international matches. She played in 251 matches for Australia across test-match, one-day international (ODI) and twenty over (T20) formats. In an international career spanning 15 years she scored more than 5,000 runs, won five World Cups and captained the Australia Women’s team to win their first T20 World Cup.
Alex is the leading run-scorer and most successful captain for the NSW Women’s cricket team, the NSW Breakers. She won an incredible 13 Women’s National Cricket League titles with the Breakers, including seven WNCL wins as captain.
In 2015 Alex captained the Sydney Thunder to win the inaugural Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) title and played in the first five iterations of the WBBL for the Sydney Thunder, becoming the club’s most productive run scorer during that period. Following her retirement from the Australian and NSW women’s cricket teams in 2018, Cricket NSW recognised Alex’s outstanding contribution to the game by naming the Thunder WBBL Player of the Year award the Alex Blackwell Medal.
Alex is the Head Coach of the Sydney University Cricket Club women’s program. She was the Head Coach for the Lancashire Thunder women’s team in 2018 and a guest coach with the Sydney Thunder WBBL team in 2023. Alex is an experienced private coach with special expertise in batting, fielding and leadership coaching.
